New Jersey's Children's System of Care, CSOC, (formerly the Division of Child Behavioral Health Services) serves children and adolescents with emotional and behavioral health care challenges and their families; and children with developmental and intellectual disabilities and their families. CSOC is committed to providing these services based on the needs of the child and family in a family-centered, community-based environment.
The Children's System of Care offers a wide range of services for children up to age 21 for behavioral health or developmental disability needs. These services include community-based services, in-home services, out-of-home residential services, and family support services. PerformCare partners with the state of New Jersey’s Division of Children’s System of Care (CSOC) as the single point of entry for all children, adolescents and young adults (up to age 21) who are in need of behavioral health, or developmental and intellectual disability, or certain substance abuse treatment services.
Starting with just one phone call, PerformCare can help a parent or guardian connect their child to the behavioral health, substance abuse and developmental disability services they need to be well and thrive. PerformCare staff are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to provide individualized care to eligible children. Depending on the child’s unique needs, support may include:
Caring Partners of Morris & Sussex Counties is a is a 501(c)(3) non-profit Care Management Organization dedicated to coordinating services, resources and supports for children and young adults in Morris and Sussex counties with complex needs that include: emotional, behavioral, intellectual, developmental, and substance use.
It is a core component of the New Jersey Children's System of Care that serves children and young adults with emotional and behavioral challenges, developmental disabilities, and/or substance use challenges. Caring Partners works closely with Family Partners of Morris & Sussex Counties to ensure the needs of the families served are met.
Children's Mobile Response and Stabilization Services are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, to help children and youth who are experiencing emotional or behavioral crises. The services are designed to defuse an immediate crisis, keep children and their families safe, and maintain the children in their own homes or current living situation (such as a foster home, treatment home or group home) in the community.

The Department of Children and Families serves children, youth and families who need a variety of supports including New Jersey's Children's System of Care. The System of Care supports children and youth ages 5-21 with emotional, mental, developmental, substance abuse and behavioral health needs. The System of Care is committed to providing these services based on the needs of the child and family in a family-driven, community-based environment. The National Federation of Families is a national family-run organization linking more than 120 state and local affiliates and national partners focused on the issues of children and youth with emotional, behavioral, or mental health needs and substance use challenges and their families. It was conceived in Arlington, Virginia in February, 1989 by a group of 18 people determined to make a difference in the way the system works.
